Job Mission
-Take lead on timely delivery of all pre-install documentation for highly complex machines. Secure timing & quality. Secure input for flawless install preparations at customers.
-Pre-install documentation is set of drawings, manuals, connection diagrams, utility data sheets, floor templates, safety requirements.
Job Description
-Make and execute plan
-Secure resources, which might be spread over various projects/sectors
-Do continuous alignment between teams. Secure quality by reviewing
-Participate in calls with customers. Understand their specific needs, and come with realistic proposals
-Report on progress (and risks) to management
Education
-Bachelor or masters preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering
Experience
-At least 3 years working experience as project lead
-Experience in leading high stake projects
-Experience in negotiations with highly demanding customers
-Preferably experience in generating or collecting install documentation for machines
Personal skills
-Highly driven, no nonsense attitude, teambuilder
-Keen on identifying risks in plan
-Clear and structured way of working and reporting
-Remains effective under high pressure
Context of the Position
-The project lead pre-install reports to the group leader Mechanical System Layout and is operational within multidisciplinary, cross-sectorial projects. Will report to program managers, account managers and directly to customers.
-Within this company, the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification, design and engineering of the company’s products.
-In this sector, departments such as Mechatronics, Mechanics and Electronics specify, design, and qualify the various modules of the company’s products. Each department consists of discipline and function oriented groups where emphasis lies on particular competence or functions in the company’s equipment.
